3 Day Cleanse

Ok. Forget the blogging for 30 days idea. I clearly am already behind on this idea, so I will just go back to blogging to whatever is going on with us.

So...here is what is going on with us....

Renzi and I are on Day 2 of a 3 Day Cleanse.

And I am starving. Seriously STARVING.

After a month of eating and drinking everything in sight, I decided we needed to jump start our healthy eating and do a cleanse. Not the Master Cleanse, but a modified one. I went to Bethenny Frankel's website (www.bethenny.com) and she had a lovely 3 day cleanse on her website and I decided this was a WONDERFUL idea. 3 days! I can do that! That's nothing! Right!!???

WRONG.

You see, this little cleanse we are doing consists of this concoction pictured above mixed with water. 64 oz of water. No alcohol, no caffeine, no dairy, no carbs. You can however, eat fruits and vegetables if you are really hungry. Or drink vegetable broth.

Last night, I literally felt like I was withering away. So I went to bed early with a massive headache. The headache I am sure is from the massive amounts of caffeine that I normally drink during the day did not get consumed yesterday.

I woke up actually feeling much better than I did yesterday. So, I did the smartest thing. Which was go to my little bootcamp workout class. I seriously almost didn't make it through.

My poor sweet husband, who usually goes along with most anything I say, agreed to do this with me. I just got off the phone with him and we are both at our breaking points. Last night while Jackson was eating dinner (mac n cheese, celery, blueberries and pears), Renzi and I were literally watching him take every bite. I thought at one point both of us were going to steal his plate from him and scarf it down.

So hungry! Need red meat! Need milk! Everytime I drive past a restaurant all I can think of is exactly what I would order at each restaurant. I just want to drive to Ted's and put a straw in some queso. Or go to Taco Bueno and order 97 bean burritos.

But, we shall press on. Neither one of us are good at quitting anything. Maybe because we are both so stubborn.

Stay tuned to find out if we make it to the 3rd day of our "cleanse."

Seriously still starving,
Lee Anne

P.S. I would like to give a shout out to Taylor, who I work with. She did the Master Cleanse for 10 days and has done it before. She didn't break down. She is a machine. When I sent her a message last night to let her know that I was still hungry she said she was eating Chick-Fil-A. Thanks Taylor. :)

you guys can TOTALLY do this. I'm willing to bet on it that if you'd gotten the right syrup to start and real lemons that you wouldn't be wanting to eat your own arm right now!! ONE MORE DAY!!!! :)
