Summer is here!

The beginning of summer for us has been a whirlwind but so fun!

Renzi and I went to Dallas this past weekend for the day and went to the Coldplay concert with some friends. It was unflipping believable.

I took Jackson and his buddy Cal to Enid to Leonardo's and Adventure Quest last week. If you have never been, it's a must! Totally worth the drive from OKC.

Of course, these basketball fanatics found a Bball goal there and shot some hoops.

And they loved this ball racing deal.

But, to my surprise, the boys spent the most time in the carpenter shop. They hammered and sawed these boards together and concentrated so hard they didn't even talk for half an hour! When they were finished hammering they then painted their masterpieces and were so stinking proud of themselves. Too cute.

Jackson also finished up his first t-ball season. These precious friends are the best!

Boys will be boys!

My grandparents were in town last week for my Papaw's last chemo session. He has small cell lung cancer and has been such a trooper. He is so brave and strong and has had such an amazing attitude throughout all of this. They came over on Tuesday and had dinner with us. Walker and Papaw were having a deep conversation in this picture. Melt my heart!

Speaking of Walker Bear...he loves to stick out his tongue! I wish I could freeze time right now with Jackson and Walker. Such sweet moments and I find myself smiling and so happy all day.

I am also lookinh forward to our Mexico trip coming up! My bestie Jackie is getting married and we are all going to the wedding. Looking forward to hanging with my boys on the beach!

Hope it's a great week for everyone!

Last week...

Last week while I was "hanging" (literally, ha) out with these amazing high school students...

My hubby, the brave soul, flew with both boys all by his lonesome to Annapolis, MD to visit family and go to a doctors appointment. It was Walker's first plane ride!
This is how the 2.5 hour plane ride went...

Seriously, so presh.

Pops and Cine were so excited to hang with Jackson, Miller and Walker.

And, Aunt Ginny and Uncle Dave got to meet Walker!

My sweet boys about to go swimming.

Not so sure about this swimming thing dad...

Sweet cousins! Just missing Jake and Asher...we will all be together in August in Colorado!

And this is from the plane ride home..oh, and yes, everyone is wearing the same outfits that they wore when they flew into Maryland. That's a dad's way of packing for ya! ;)

All in all, everyone had a great week!!! But we all missed eachother terribly! 6 days is too long to be away from my babies and my hubby!

Happy Birthday Isaiah

Today my precious second born son Isaiah would have been 3 years old. And although he is celebrating this birthday in Heaven and not here with us, I just know he is having the best birthday party ever. I mean, who else gets a VIP like Jesus at their 3rd birthday party? Right?!??

So, wherever you are, please raise your glass and toast to Isaiah Lee Stone. His blessings, beauty and strength continue to inspire us everyday.

June???

I seriously feel like I looked up and it was June. What happened to the last part of May?? Needless to say, things have been quite busy at our house lately. Here are some pics to show you what we have been up to!

We took a walk with our sweet neighbors, Lauren and Kelsey, to the golf course one gorgeous evening. Lauren is 4 and Kelsey is 2 and they are just precious. Jackson thinks Lauren is his girlfriend. It's really cute. Here are all four kiddos!

Everybody loves Renzi! His lap is the place to be!

Look at these sweet brothers. This was at lunch at Jackson's favorite lunch spot, The Bagel Shop. This makes me very happy because it was my favorite place to eat in high school and college and I was so sad when it closed down. It has been back open for a few years now and I like to think that because I ate there basically every day when I was pregnant with Jackson, that is why he loves it so much. I mean, I practically overdosed him on bagels while he was in the womb!

Jackson fell asleep one night in our bed while we had a babysitter one night. We took this picture because we couldn't believe how LONG Jackson looks! What a tall drink of water!

Here is my Walker Bear on his first boat ride last weekend at the lake! I am beyond happy to report that he LOVED the boat ride and did so well that we anchored and stayed out for quite a while! Yay!

Isn't this a funny pic? Renzi took it of Jackson and I swimming in the lake with Walker just chilling on the boat.

Jackson loves to go fishing while we are at the lake and we recently bought him his very own fishing pole and he rocks it! Look at this catfish that he caught all on his own! Pretty impressive! He wanted me to cook it for dinner that night. Ummm. No thank you.

And I love love love love love this pic of my boys and I! I am so beyond blessed to be their momma.

Besides the beginning of summer and the lake and swimming and playing I have been busy working a lot more than usual. My annual Youth Leadership Oklahoma trip starts this Sunday and I will be on a bus with 50 of our state's top high school Juniors from Sunday to Friday of next week. We will be traveling across our great state and meeting some of our state's leaders, visiting businesses, museums and really getting to know what Oklahoma is all about. I love my job and am so blessed to be able to do most of my work from home and I am excited to take this trip for my 6th year this year. I am, though, going to miss my babies and my hubby terribly! 6 days is a long time to be away from them, but I know they are in good hands with their daddy.

If you want to follow us next week on our trip you can do so on twitter: YLOKYLOK, like us on Facebook: Youth Leadership Oklahoma, and read our blog www.youthleadershipoklahoma.blogspot.com. Our intern, Bryce,  will be blogging nightly so you can read all about our adventures!

Until next time!

With love,
Lee Anne
