Things are growing here!

Thought I would share some pics of two things that are growing here at our house...

The garden...and baby Walker!

The garden, I am happy to report is doing so well! So far so good! Jackson painted the beds all by himself. We have pumpkins, spinach, carrots, sqauah, zucchini, jalepenos, sweet peppers, cucumber and blueberries growing in this bed.

We started out with some plants and some seeds. The carrots and spinach were seeds and I am happy to report that they are sprouting! This is big news people considering I can barely keep a house plant alive.

In this bed there are tomatoes, rosemary, cilantro, oregano, basil and lavender. Please take note of the blue paint on our brown fence. The baby woke up from a nap and I went inside to get him and left Jackson outside with the paint. Bad idea. Oh well!

And speaking of the baby...guess who is 3 months old?

Here is Walker at one month...

And at two months...

And at three months! Sweet boy! At his GI appointment last week he was 15 lbs and 24.5 inches long. Growing, growing!

He is just so stinking cute, and that smile! Oh Lordy be. I am a puddle of mush every time he smiles.

I am loving, loving on this baby!

My People

Happy Monday!!

Here are some pics from the past week.....

Ummm...seriously?!!! Could you just DIE from the cuteness that is this picture??? Walker Stone...YOU ARE THE CUTEST!

Here is my cutie Jackson apparently striking a pose on his way into the Chesapeake Arena with Renzi last Monday. They went to the Thunder/Lakers game in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Thunder won! By 30! Whoo hoo!

Guess who loves the Bumbo??? This guy! I think he likes to be sitting up like a big boy. This was Friday and he was sitting in the kitchen just chatting away with me while I made dinner. LOVE!

How lucky am I??!! Look at my handsome boys. And no, they don't look a THING like their dad at all. Ha!

Sweet brothers. Oh, and I promise Walker isn't being tortured in this picture.

Holding hands. Flipping so precious.

Momma and her baby boy! This was Saturday night...we had ordered pizza and were lounging around by the pool. Such a happy night!

And here is me and my little ones. I love every hair on their little heads!

Hope everyone has a great week!

My Letter to Isaiah-Two Years Later

Dear Isaiah,
My precious baby boy.

Where do I even begin?

Two years ago today you passed away. Two years ago today, our life was turned upside down in ways I can not even begin to explain. But...two years ago today, you met your Maker...Our precious Lord and Savior.

The past two years without you have been a whirlwind of emotions. I still feel that sometimes it seems like you were just here with us and other times it seems like a lifetime ago. It is still so hard for me to believe that you are gone.

You have a new baby brother now. His name is Walker and he is our newest blessing. But...you already know all of this...I know you had a hand in bringing him to us. And I know you are watching down on us all now, proud to be a big brother to him. He will never ever replace you as you will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. He looks so much like a mixture of your brother and you and I am so thankful for that. I need to see you in him....and I do. Such beautiful boys I have.

I promise to tell Walker all about you. Your big brother already tells him so many things about his little brother Isaiah. Every night and before every meal when he says his prayers he always thanks God for you. My prayer is that he will always do this. I promise to always tell him how brave you are. How smart you are. How loving and faithful you always are.

We do miss you my precious Zayah...every single day. But...I am so thankful that the pain of losing you doesn't sting as bad as it used to. Believe me, there are still days when it cuts me like a knife when I think about it, but the pain has lessened. I think more about the good times and less about the bad.

I have moved forward in my grieving in that I would like to refer to May 17th not as the day that you died, but as your "Glory Day." The day that you got to go to Heaven with our Glorious God. What a glorious day that must have been for you!

I love you always and forever my precious baby boy. I miss you. But, I find comfort in knowing that you are with our Maker and living a most glorious life.

I'll see you again someday my love,

Love always and forever,
Mommy.

May 13th

Today is a big day over here at the Stone house!

Today is our 6th wedding anniversary! Look how young we look!

It happens to also be Mother's Day! I am so blessed to be Jackson James Stone's momma!

I am also blessed to be Isaiah Lee Stone's momma!

And, I am equally blessed to be Walker Seth Stone's momma!

What a blessed momma I am to have these three baby boys.

And I am so forever grateful to be married to the best man. Renzi, I didn't think it was possible to love you more than I did on our wedding day....but each year I love you more and more. You make me the happiest girl on earth and I thank God for placing you in my life. Thank you for loving me for me, thank you for challenging me, thank you for protecting me, and thank you for the three most precious sons. I love you infinity times infinity.

The Stone Family Garden

Hello from Walker Stone....This little cutie's tummy continues to get better and better each day. His smiles literally melt my heart into mush. Then Jackson comes around and loves on his brother and my heart gets even mushier.

We had a good weekend at our house....

Renzi and I went to a Kentucky Derby party...and I got to wear a hat! It was loads of fun.

And....we also did something that I thought we would never do...

We now have a vegetable garden in our backyard!!!

Renzi and one of his friends literally built these two flats or boxes for us to have our own veggie garden! They worked so incredibly hard and the results are amazing!

Here is our corner box for the taller plants.

We are going to plant the veggie seeds/plants this evening. So far we have cucumbers, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, bean sprouts, spinach, jalapenos, rosemary, cilantro, basil, raspberries and strawberries! I seriously can't wait to see what happens. I have high hopes!!!

Jackson and I are going to paint/decorate the wood so I will post after pictures in the next few days. Jackson is also excited to have a new chore on his chore chart which will be watering the plants/veggies.

Wow. I feel so...Domestic? Farmlike? Organic? Hahahahaha!!!

Wish us luck!
