Renzi, LeeAnne and Jackson - Our hearts are heavy, our thoughts and prayers are with you. As I looked at the precious photo of Isaiah here, I thought of a favorite excerpt from 'The Little Prince' (de Saint-Exupery):

"In one of the stars I shall be living;
In one of them I shall be laughing;
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing,
When you look at the sky at night."

God bless you and keep you at this very sad time.

Renzi, LeeAnne, and Jackson - oh how precious is your Angel watching over you now. I'm so saddened and cannot image the pain and loss that you feel. Believe in your faith and in your God, for He is so mighty, and may He wrap you up in His arms and hold you tight during this time. Lots of folks praying for you all. - David & Tammie Garrison

A Special Angel

There's a special Angel in Heaven
thats is a part of me
It is not where I wanted him
but where God wanted him to be.
He was here for just a moment
like a night time shooting star.
And though he is in Heaven
he isn't very far.
He touched the heart of many
like only an Angel can do.
We held him every minute
for the end we all knew.
So I send this special message
to the Heaven up above.
Please take care of my Angel
and send him all my love.

This poem sums of all the emotions you must be going through and I am here for you if you need me. God bless the Stone Family...

You both have inspired me at times living your faith in the open. I know now your lights will shine even brighter for more people to see. I hate that this has happened to your family and my heart breaks for you all. May you soon find the miracle in this cross you bear. I know you already know this, but you are not alone. An entire community is wrapping their arms around you. May God distribute a portion of your sorrow on the faithful to lighten the burden you carry now. You are loved!

Renzi and LeeAnne - My deepest sympathies for the loss of Isaiah. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I thought I would share the below poem with you, written by an unknown poet. God bless you and your family. Ginny Melvie, Tunheim Partners, Minneapolis.

"Daddy please don't look so sad, momma please don't cry.
Cause I'm in the arms of Jesus, and he sings me lullabies.
Please try not to question God, don't think he is unkind.
Don't think he sent me to you and then changed his mind.
You see I'm a special child, I am needed up above.
I'm the special gift you gave Him, a product of your love.
I'll always be there with you, so watch the sky at night.
Look for the brightest star and know that's my halo's brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frost that mists your window pane.
That's me in the summer showers, I'll be dancing in the rain.
When you feel a gentle breeze from a gentle wind that blows.
Know that it's me planting a kiss upon your nose.
When you see a child playing and your heart feels a tug,
Don't be sad mommy, that's just me giving your heart a hug.
So daddy don't looks so sad and momma please don't cry.
I'm in the arms of Jesus and he sings me lullabies!

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.

My deepest sympathy and thoughts as you go through this time. Please let me know if Jackson would like to come over and play sometime....
Mrs. Brooke

I have followed your blog for some time now...per Taryn Boatman's. I have always loved the sweetness, the realness, and the everlasting faith you all share as a family.

My heart aches today knowing your pain. I pray and know our God is holding you all in the palm of His hand.

May your precious memories become sweet hugs from your angel.

God bless all of you...

I find some comfort in the words of this poem....

I'll Lend You A Child- by Edgar Guest

"I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine," He said.
For you to love - while he lives
And mourn for when he's dead.

It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back,
Take care or him for Me?

He'll bring his smiles to gladden you,
And should this stay be brief
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay,
Since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.

I've looked this world over
In search for teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd
Life's lanes, I have selected you.

Now will you give him all your love,
Nor count the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call to
Take him back again?"

I fancied that I heard then say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done,
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,

The risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known
Forever grateful stay.

But should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand."

Renzi and LeeAnne,
I know you don't know me but I am friends with Grant. As a mother, my heart is so heavy for you tonight. I know there are no words I could say that would take away your pain, but I just wanted to let you know that I too am praying that God wraps you up in His ever loving arms and gives you peace during this very difficult time and he gives you strength to 'Praise Him in this Storm'. Thinking of you and sending prayers your way.

My heart has completely broken for your family. As you know, unmeasurable amounts of prayers are being said for all of you. Your blog has such a heart-warming, meaningful, positive and real feeling that allows us a glimpse into your lives. Thank you for that. Your son is a beautiful being that will always make you smile.

I know what you are going through. My son died March 19th. He was 6 months and a week old. People kept telling me God needed another angel or he was needed in heaven. That bothered me because God doesn't need anything. At the funeral a friend said it best when she said, "IT SUCKS!"
I started a blog on here shortly after he died. It is about living after your child dies. Right now I only have 2 posts. But maybe soon I will start it up. afterarlo.blogspot.com/
And I recommend Compassionate Friends. I have only been to one meeting but I do think it helps to meet with others going through the same thing.
