"Jabba Talk"
In the last year Jackson has discovered Star Wars. He loves it.
And apparently...Walker does too.
Here is a video of Walker doing "Jabba Talk" to his little brother.
Hilariousness.
A couple of things to note about the video.
1. Yes, I realize Jackson has a mullet. He has since had a haircut.
2. Why, yes, that is Jackson saying his favorite phrase, "This. Is. Awkward."
3. Freaking Annabelle the dog makes an appearance in the background with her bark. After I took this video I discovered that she had somehow gotten into the Diaper Genie and gone to town on some diapers. Disgusting. Dog for Sale. Seriously. She drives me nuts.
4. I think my kids are flipping precious.
5. That is all.

Walkie Talkie is 5 months old!
Walker (AKA Walkie Talkie as his big brother affectionately calls him) is 5 months old! The sweet spot of babies in my opinion. I love 5 and 6 months because their head and neck control is pretty good, you can hold them on your hip, you can feed them baby food and best of all...most of the time you have their sleep sum what figured out!
Here's my cutie during his month photo shoot. Little lovey is losing his hair and growing new hair in its place. He's like a little old man.

He loves to swing!

He loves to cuddle with his brother morning, noon and night. Walker's big brother can do no wrong and he is fascinated by him. He especially loves sitting in his bumbo chair and watching Jackson play basketball.

Sitting in his high chair. At our lake house we pull the high chair outside and Walker will just sit and look at the scenery for a long time.

And he loves going swimming!

And his jumperoo exersaucer has become quite a big hit as well.

At Walker's last doc appointment he was 19 lbs. 11 oz and 27 inches long. He has a really long torso and what I lovingly refer to as "thunder thighs." Seriously, you should SEE the rolls on this kiddos legs. Love, love love.
Happy 5 months my sweet Walker!

These boys...
Last weekend, even though Walker and I were getting over ear infections, we headed to our lake house with our great friends Christy and Drew. They have two boys, Dex, who is 5 and Cal who is 3 and Christy is 34 weeks pregnant with their third boy. And let me just tell you...Christy does the pregnant thing SOOO well. Like, she looks so amazing and never complains and will ride bikes and hike and swim and hold her kids all at that same time. It's pretty awesome.
Jackson was in heaven having his two buddies to run around with. The boys all had a slumber party and slept downstairs in the living room on a pallet. Too cute.
Each morning, the boys would sit on the couch watching Star Wars, having milk and taking turns holding Walker.
The nap nanny continues to be a huge hit for everyone. Even if you are 3 years old.
Cal, Dex and Jackson scoping out the best spot to go fishing. These boys were maniacs in the fishing department. Everyone caught at least 3!
Sweet Jackson loves to feed Walker a bottle in the mornings. What a great helper!
Me and my "gangster" son after taking a swim in the pool. I really don't know where he gets it.
When we came home I pulled out our exersaucer and Walker Bear loves it! Yay!
Jackson came in last night and said he grew a beard during rest time. Hmmm....
This morning Jackson decided he wanted to have a lemonade stand. Precious boy. He is quite the salesman too. He was trying to sell a toy to our neighbor for $7. It was a plastic pig. Our neighbor said, "How about $1?" And Jackson said, "No, how about $7."
It was overcast today so I took the boys to the park and decided to see if Walker liked the swings. He LOVED it! Yay!
I hope each of you is having a great week!

Poopapalooza
This past week was a rough one for us at the Stone house. As I blogged previously, poor Walker had double ear infections last weekend and just couldn't seem to kick it. By Wednesday, he was a flipping mess....and....so was I! I started feeling badly myself and by Thursday I was out for the count. Renzi stayed home with the boys, I went to the doctor and lo and behold...I had a double ear infection too! What are the flipping odds of that and what adult gets ear infections?! I came home, took my meds and literally slept all day and woke up feeling much better.
In the meantime, Renzi took Walker back to the doctor Thursday and his ear infections were not clearing up so they changed his antibiotic. The doctor told Ren that this antibiotic might make his poop a little crazy.
Which leads me to this story for your Monday....
After a long weekend of everyone trying to get better, we all woke up this morning feeling much, much better. Walker slept like a champ, going to bed at 8:00 p.m. and only waking up once to eat at 6:00 a.m. and then going back to sleep until 8:00 a.m. Rock on.
I got up, showered, and got ready for work when I heard him stirring. Jackson and I have this ritual that we do when Walker wakes up in the morning and we go in his room and sing this "Good Morning" song and it is always met with huge smiles from the little guy. This morning we got even bigger smiles than usual and I put Walker on the changing table to change his diaper. I took off the dirty diaper and turned to put it in the diaper pail when I heard this sound.
I turned to look back and Walker had poop shooting out of his bottom. It went all over the wall and was dripping onto the carpet.
And he was laughing out loud.
About this time, our dog, Annabelle, came running in and was trying to lick up the poop. I quickly pushed her out of the room and shut the door.
I then bent down on the ground to try to wipe off the poop from the wall when I heard the sound again.
And I felt something really warm in my hair and oozing down my head.
That's right folks. Walker pooped on my hair.
And he was STILL laughing.
My life is seriously one big episode of candid camera.

Sickie
Last Friday I felt like Walker was a little off...no fever, but was a little fussy and refused to be laid down for a nap without crying (which is rare because this baby (praise Jesus!) loves to sleep!)
Anywho, when Saturday night resulted in a not so good night of sleep, we took him Sunday to the Kids First Pediatric After Hours Clinic and lo and behold, our poor little guy has double ear infections! Boo!!!!!
Renzi and I were actually just chatting last week about how Walker had not been sick yet and that this was the longest any of our kiddos had gone in their first few months of life without an ear infection. Jackson had his first ear infection at 3 weeks and Isaiah at 8 weeks. Both ended up having tubes in both ears and both never had another ear infection again!
Let's hope Walker's luck is a little better than his brothers!
With two doses of his antibiotic down and with a little help from our friend Tylenol, Walker seems much happier and sleeping MUCH better.
He's even getting a little play time in with his favorite toy, which just so happens to be ALL of my kids favorite toy.
*Sigh* Even sick, I think he is the cutest!!!!

Mexico!
One of my best friends in the whole wide world got married this past week in.....

So, Renzi, Jackson and I all packed up and headed off to MEXICO! We made the decision that it might not be the most practical or safe idea to bring a four month old to Mexico so we left him at home with the amazing Tricia. We missed him so much but we had a really good time.
Jackson and I got lots of snuggles, swimming and running around and playing in!

And I got to hang out with one of my other besties, Emily Sue! It was even more special because she and her husband, Dustin, literally left from Cancun to embark on their year long trip around the world! We got the chance to send them off in a taxi from our hotel on Friday night to the bus station in Playa Del Carmen to catch their bus to Belize. You can follow their adventures over the next year at http://www.WeGoRTW.com/. I am so incredibly proud of them for taking this adventure and can't wait to hear all about each step of the way!

Here are my boys and I at the wedding. Such a beautiful location!

My Love!

My beautiful bestie, Jackie, and her dad walking down the aisle!

Jackson was yelling...."I'M AT THE BEACH! TAKE MY PICTURE!!!"

Em Sue and I were beyond ecstatic to be together at the beach and at the wedding!

The Three Musketeers! Please excuse my tan lines.

All in all we had the best week! Jackson became an expert swimmer and enjoyed swimming with his goggles and diving for his diving sticks in the pool. So proud to watch his confidence in swimming get better and better this summer.
We missed our sweet Walker sooooooo much and it was so good to have him back in our arms again!
Congrats to Jackie and George! What a beautiful couple you are and we were so overjoyed to get to spend your wedding week with you!
